How to choose LED Lamp Brand when purchasing LED Screen Display- Nationstar, Kinglight

Updated: Jun 5, 2023

LED lamps have revolutionized the lighting industry with their energy efficiency and longevity. In Shenzhen, China, a bustling market for LED products, several brands have emerged as popular choices among consumers. This article aims to shed light on the leading LED brands available in Shenzhen, their quality levels, and the factors to consider when choosing the right LED lamp for indoor applications.

Brand Overview:

Shenzhen's LED market boasts several prominent brands, including Nationstar, Kinglight, Mulinsen, and Hongsheng.

However, two international brands, Cree from the USA and Nichia from Japan, stand out as the highest-quality options. These brands are known for their exceptional stability and display effects, making them a preferred choice for customers with discerning standards.

Quality Levels:

1. Cree and Nichia: Renowned for their outstanding performance, Cree and Nichia LEDs are considered the pinnacle of LED technology. These international brands provide the best stability and display effects. However, their superior quality comes at a price. Individual LED lamps from Cree or Nichia can cost 3 to 5 times more than those from Nationstar. Additionally, the square price of Cree and Nichia LEDs is 4 to 6 times higher. Due to the high cost, only a small percentage of customers with stringent requirements opt for these brands.

2. Nationstar: Nationstar, a Chinese brand established in 1969, has a longstanding reputation for providing high-quality LED products. As with any electronic device, minor issues may occur, but Nationstar's LED lamps are widely regarded as reliable. The brand offers different quality levels, such as high-brightness gold wire, copper wire, and gold wire options. Nationstar LEDs are recognized for their superior performance and are an excellent choice for indoor projects.

3. Kinglight. Positioned as a second-line domestic brand, Kinglight offers LED lamps that are manufactured in China. The price of Kinglight products is generally lower than Nationstar's, making it a more affordable option. Kinglight LEDs are particularly recommended for projects with budget constraints. Despite being a second-line brand, Kinglight still provides satisfactory performance for indoor applications.

4. Mulinsen and Hongsheng: Mulinsen and Hongsheng represent the lower end of the LED market in terms of quality. These brands offer products of varying reliability, with Hongsheng primarily catering to wholesale LED module suppliers. While these brands offer the lowest prices on the market, their overall quality may not match the standards set by Cree, Nichia, Nationstar, or Kinglight.

When it comes to LED lamps in Shenzhen's market, Cree and Nichia are considered top-tier brands, offering unparalleled stability and display effects. Nationstar, a Chinese brand, excels in providing high-quality LED products with different quality levels to suit various requirements. Kinglight presents a more budget-friendly option without compromising significantly on performance. Finally, Mulinsen and Hongsheng, while offering lower-priced LEDs, may not always meet the quality standards set by other brands.

As customers explore the world of LED lamps, it's essential to consider factors such as project requirements, budget, and desired performance levels. By understanding the diverse range of brands and quality levels available, consumers can make informed decisions when selecting LED lamps for indoor applications in Shenzhen or any other market.
